WALK
You can walk to Devonport from Auckland City via the ferry or enjoy a leisurely walk from Takapuna along a dedicated pathway, which is a great way to see the sights. If walking is your thing you may even decide to accomplish the 23 km long costal walk from Torbay.
However you decide to walk to Devonport, on your arrival you will be able to relax and refuel at one of the many cafes or restaurants and enjoy the Devonport village atmosphere.

Walking to Devonport is a great outdoor experience, whether you plan to walk the short distance from the city centre and catch the ferry across to Devonport or for the more dedicated walkers enjoying a day long trek from Torbay along the coast.
