Driving to Devonport from Auckland Airport or any part of greater Auckland is easy with a well signposted route. Devonport is located on a peninsula that is north of the Auckland Harbour Bridge and next to Takapuna.

Auckland is a geographically spread city so getting around by car is most widely used form of transport. Once in Devonport many of the attractions and can be easily walked to and the city centre is a short Ferry trip directly from Devonport.
