Auckland Airport
Auckland Airport is located on the edge of the Manukau Harbour with both domestic and international terminal facilities. There are a range of transport options for traveling to and from Auckland Airport to the central city and Devonport.
Auckland Airport’s recommends that you allow plenty of time when planning your travel to and from the airport itself in case of any delays and recommend that you arrive at least three hours before your international flight or one hour before your domestic flight.
Transfer by Public transport, taxis and shuttles
There are a number number of buses, shuttles and taxi services that provide a pickup and delivery services from the national and international terminals.
Indicative fare prices from the airport into the city are between NZ$60 – NZ$80 one-way for a taxi and shuttles ($33 for one person plus $8 for each extra person together in the same group). For specific fare pricing, contact the taxi and shuttle companies directly.
Driving to or from the airport
The drive between the Auckland Airport and Devonport is about an hour and we suggest you add another 30% more travel time for peak traffic hours or heavy rain.
